The Best of The Inspired Home Show 2024
This year I was extraordinarily excited to go to the Inspired Home Show, at McCormick Place, here in hometown Chicago. For me it’s like going to Disney but even better. It’s an opportunity to see the latest and greatest in the housewares industry. All the best gadgets and gizmos, blenders and vacuums, coffee makers and thermometers. Get ready to check out some of my absolute favorites from the show.
You can find the videos and photos I took at the show on Instagram in my IHS24 folder.
What was different about this years show
This years show was smaller than previous years which was good and bad. It was good because that meant rather than having to race through three massive rooms at McCormick place, the show was confined to the North and South areas. Still huge but more manageable. It was bad because it meant that there were brands that didn’t come to the show this year. I missed brands like Bamboozle, HexClad and Oxo. I guess that they figure they have enough business organically without going to the show. It makes sense.
Here are the items I saw and some of my favorites.
Winner of the Whole Show Hands Down
Rather than keep you in suspense I’m going to tell you up front that this product was by far the game changer for the person that cooks a lot, needs to use disposable aluminum pans for sanity, and wants an option that takes a disposable 9×13-inch pan and makes it beautiful enough to bring to a Shabbat or Holiday table. It’s like a chameleon – dressy or casual depending upon what’s in it.
I’m talking about Foil Decor.
I literally freaked out about this product and posted about it on Instagram that night.
The product is made out of a hard plastic but doesn’t have that “plasticey” look. It comes in three parts: A base, a snap on rim, and a lid. The lid can be used to keep your food covered and warm or as another matching tray for chips or anything else you want to serve on a matching piece.
It comes in a bunch of colors too.
It’s SO good that I already worked out a coupon code for 15% off on the website foildecor.com using the coupon code KOSHEREVERYDAY.
I also LOVE…
Sophistiplate
I am an insanely HUGE fan of Sophistiplate products. I’m even an affiliate and have my own personal discount code KOSHEREVERYDAY1 that will give you a great 15% discount on your purchase! Sophistiplate has beautiful disposable dinnerware that looks like it’s not. My holiday tables always look fabulous – especially the ones where I’m having a lot of company, doing a lot of cooking, and don’t want to wash a lot of dishes! Sophistiplate is a great, reasonably priced alternative with beautful tableware that you’ll be really happy with. Here are a few curated sets I put together while visiting. I’d love to know which one you like the best.
Water Bottles
There are a LOT of water bottles on display at the show. There were pretty ones, insulated ones, coffee mugs, kids cups, even travel cups for people with ADHD! Here are some of my favorites. I’ll post links (some may be affiliates).
KOR
I love Kor water bottles. I own several specifically the Melrose (in all sizes) and the Kor One Canvas which is personalized with Portchi artwork.
What’s new from Kor is a water bottle where you can insert your own drawings or artwork into the sides of the bottle. Similar to the Kor One. It’s the perfect personalized gift with your own photos or kids personalized drawings as the artwork. I’m really excited for this one to make it to the website! Make sure to check out the videos I took of my interview on Instagram @koshereveryday.
Water H
These are cool tech water bottles that actually keep track of how much you’re drinking and have a light that lets you know when you need to drink more!!! Super cool.
Water H brand also has a water filtration straw that works on any water bottle with a straw! This is great for when you’re traveling to any place they tell you not to drink the water. The price is reasonable as well.
Elemental Water Bottles
Elemental Water Bottles – especially the Iconic Pop ones have the greatest handles for anyone – especially those that need to fidget. They come in styles for kids or adults.
They were nice enough to give me one for my grandson (it’s going to be an afikomen present!) and I’m super excited to see how he likes it.
Honorable Mention Water Bottles
These are ones I really liked but space is limited 😀

Pizza ovens for the home were super big this year. Many got up to 700 degrees! Here were some of the ones that I saw.
Hell’s Kitchen
They have several. One for the kitchen and one that goes on the grill.
Bella Pro Pizza Oven
This beautiful baby comes in several colors and would look gorgeous in any kitchen! It coordinates with all the new Bella products that are simply stunning.
Westinghouse
Gourmia
Cuisinart
Fun Miscellaneous Gadgets and Stuff that I didn’t categorize
This is where I show you a bunch of cool stuff that I simply loved at the show. The list is long. Read the captions under the pics for more information. I’ll also try to have links (some are affiliate) to the products on Amazon or the brands webpage available by clicking on the photo.
Here goes!
Waffle Wow Waffle Makers
You saw me using a Waffle Wow Waffle maker when I made my Gluten Free Peanut Butter Oatmeal Raisin Waffles on Instagram @koshereveryday! Waffle Wow has new waffle makers that are sure to inspire the most creative in your family. here’s a cool one that allows you to make cars and tanks from different waffle parts. How awesome is that!!!
Chicwrap
I’ve worked with Chicwrap before and love their plastic wrap dispensers with the sliding cutter at the top. You never get bunched plastic wrap when you use it. There are some gorgeous new patterns and colors this year. I especially love the one on top in the picture. Use code KOSHER10 for 10% off.
Brain Stream BeepEgg
Plays different tunes depending upon which timer you have. You put it in the fridge with your eggs and then toss it in the pot when you’re cooking them. When the eggs are done it plays a song. Different songs for soft/medium/hard boiled. Super fun.
Chef Doodler
A super cool pen that makes sugar art. They actually made an Eifel Tower out of sugar. It’s currently a kickstarter but I’ll keep you posted on this one…
Silikomart
These are the people that make the amazing silicone molds that I use for gluten free Challah! Here’s the one that makes gorgeous big ones!
Satin Ice
Satin Ice makes all kinds of cake decorating products that are certified Kosher. You can look like a professional pastry chef with these simple additions.
Bell & Howell by Design Serenity Luxury Humidifier
I really really want this one. It looks like a fireplace but is really a diffuser! I don’t think it’s out yet but when it is…
Turbo Trusser
I was a little skeptical about this but it looks like it will really work!
USA Pan
These little quarter sheet pans look simple but they have the perfect weight and are amazing for making anything that’s not huge. Really. I got mine personalized again this year.
Gefu
I absolutely love Gefu products – especially the Magic Peeler and Spirelli spiralizer. There were a few new and exciting products on display from my buddies at Gourmetkitchenworks.com, but what really got me excited was the Cut Pro Defrosting and Chopping Board. It thaws food up to 60% faster, has a non-slip surface and a knife sharpener as well.
Tovolo
Tovolo is one of my favorite kitchenware companies. Their spatulas are awesome and now they come in a new variety of colors. They have also updated their adorable ones in new styles and they have kitchen tips on the backs – like cooking temperatures and weight conversions.
I’m also a huge fan of the Scoop and Spread spatulas in every size and color, as well as the new Mini Ice Cylinder that easily makes mini ice cubes. I even brought home some football ice cube molds that everyone loves.
Dash Waffle Makers
Dash once again has great mini and multiple waffle makers. Stay tuned for a great Passover recipe using Dash Waffle Makers right around the corner!
Peugeot
FinaMill
FinaMill electric grinders are a kitchen’s best friend. That’s all.
Progressive
Progressive has update the Hindy Chopper with better gripping and less breakage. A win/win for everyone. Check out my Instagram show highlights for the whole interview.
Microplane
Chefman Warming Tray
Kikkerland
Served Bowls and Pitchers
Kitchen Mama Can Opener
I was really stunned when I watched this baby in action. All you have to do is set it on top of the can, press a button and it actually takes the entire top off the can. There are no sharp edges, and you can even put the lid back on to store the open can. It’s really impressive and astonishing.
Happy Sinks
Happy Sinks makes innovative products that are magnetized from the outside of your sink so that the look is seamless inside!
There’s more…
There’s lots more that I saw at the show and in the interest of not making this a five mile long post I’m going to say the following. Check out my header on Instagram. I’ll post links (mostly affiliate) and some coupon codes for the stuff I found.
I mean, how do you describe Disney in a single post in a completely detailed and comprehensive way? This was way better and it took me three full days to go through the show.
If there is a particular product you’re curious about and I didn’t talk about it in this post please let me know and I”ll do my best to help out.
