Gluten Free Oat Challah Recipes
These are the original Gluten Free Oat Challah recipes developed for Kosher Everyday by Sharon Matten. These recipes were personally tested and re-tested to ensure the quality of the Challah. These challahs contain enough gluten free oat flour that you can wash and bench (please consult your LOR).
Additionally, since so much time, effort, and love went into the development of these recipes, feel free to use them for personal use. I’d love for you to share links to these recipes as well as photos of your finished products – make sure to tag me so I can cheer for you!!!
PLEASE DO NOT CUT AND PASTE THE RECIPES DIRECTLY INTO POSTS. Again, please feel free to share links – I LOVE when you do that…just no cutting and pasting the actual recipes directly into posts. Thanks SO much!!!

Notes:
- These challahs can be frozen. Place into air tight freezer zipper bags, then freeze for up to 3 months. Make sure to defrost and warm before using.
- These challahs are best warm. If not eating them fresh, make sure to warm before eating for best texture and flavor.
- It’s best to under-bake rather than over-bake the challahs in these recipes – especially when making rolls. Bake only until the rolls are lightly browned on top for best results.
