Caramel Hot Chocolate POPCORN
Caramel Hot Chocolate popcorn is fairly simple to make. Make sure to use high quality popcorn for the best results.
Half a cup of un-popped kernels makes between 13-15 cups of popped popcorn.
AIR POPPED METHOD
The key to making amazing Caramel Hot Chocolate Popcorn from an air popper is spraying the popcorn with nonstick spray as it’s coming out of the popper. That gives the popcorn a very very light coating that the Caramel Hot Chocolate can stick to.
STOVETOP POPPING METHOD
In a large 6-8 quart stock pot, place 2 tablespoons of avocado/canola/peanut oil and 1/2 cup un-popped popcorn kernels.
TO FINISH YOUR Caramel Hot Chocolate POPCORN
Once the popcorn has been popped and coated, sprinkle 1/4 cup of Caramel Hot Chocolate Mix over the popcorn. Toss to coat completely. You can also use 1-2 packets of your favorite Hot Chocolate Mix, even the sugar free variety works well.
