Skewered Spiral Fries

Ingredients

  • Small red potatoes
  • Canola oil for frying
  • Spiral cutter tool
  • Long skewers
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil over medium-high heat to 350° F.
  2. Using the spiral cutter tool, cut a potato into one long spiral.
  3. Push a skewer all the way through the center of the potato, opening up the spiral on the skewer.
  4. Place into the hot oil maintaining the 350° F temperature.
  5. Fry the potato until crispy.
  6. Repeat with remaining potatoes.
  7. Sprinkle the fries with salt.
  8. Serve hot!
